Description

In this course, you won't learn how to "deploy your Java app to AWS" or "how to deploy to Google Cloud." You will understand the fundamentals that will then allow you to deploy anything, to wherever you want to solve real business problems.

This includes deploying Rust, Node.js, web applications, mobile applications, Java, Next.js, and Swift to AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, and other cloud providers, or even just doing on-premise deployment!

Completing this course will save you hours of your life, and help you and your business save potentially thousands of dollars in cloud and infrastructure costs down the line.

This course will not lock you into a single cloud provider. You'll be able to jump around them, mix and match, and get the best of all worlds.

We will take on a major challenge: handling 50 million real HTTP requests a month, on a $15-a-month budget. This will not be a lab-like environment! We'll be working with around 50 environment variables, 175 HTTP routes, 5 PostgreSQL databases, logging, compression, encryption, Redis, Docker, media processing, different programming languages, and so much more! This will be a very extreme real-world environment, and it will significantly expand your creativity and give you the ability to stop doing engineering for the sake of engineering, and start doing it to actually solve real business problems.

Throughout the course, we will deal with the following technologies:

AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, Cloudflare, Terraform, Docker, Bash scripting, C/C++, Rust, Java, Node.js, Swift, Go, Linux, Networking (TCP, WebSockets, UDP, HTTP, HTTPS, TLS, IPv6/IPv4), PostgreSQL, Redis, Nginx, Next.js, and more!

You do not need to have any prior experience with them to follow along.

What makes this course so different from anything else?

In this course, we deal with real projects, real users, and real business logic, and that's what makes it different from almost anything else you've seen before.

This course has been designed and planned over the years for the age of AI, with a primary focus on innovation and expanding your thinking process. It's not a traditional-style or how-to course. Over 50,000 lines of code have been prepared over the years for this course, with the goal of educating you more and providing you with more value than almost any Computer Science course you can take at a university.

This course will prepare you for a career in DevOps and cloud engineering better than any AWS, GCP, or Azure certificate ever could.
